Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Tayal Web Design (“we”, “us”, “our”), located at #682, Sector-20B, Old Faridabad, Faridabad, Haryana 121002, India, collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit tayalsecuritechsolutions.com/web-design/, submit an enquiry form, or engage us for web design and development services.
We keep this deliberately plain. If anything here is unclear, write to info@tayalsecuritechsolutions.com and we will explain it.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Contact details — name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, company name, submitted through our enquiry form, by email, or over a call.
- Project information — the brief, requirements, content, images, logos and any other material you share so we can quote for or deliver the work.
- Billing details — billing address and GSTIN where an invoice is required. We do not collect or store card numbers, UPI PINs or net-banking credentials; payments are handled by the payment provider directly.
- Access credentials — where a project requires it, logins for your hosting, domain registrar, CMS or analytics accounts. These are used only for the agreed work and are returned or deleted on completion.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed and time spent. This is standard server log and analytics data used to keep the site secure and understand what visitors find useful.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see section 5.
1.3 What we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric, caste, religious or financial account information) through this website, and we do not ask for it in our forms. Please do not send such information to us unsolicited.
2. How we use your information
| Purpose | Data used | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote | Contact details, project information | Your consent / steps taken at your request before a contract |
| Deliver the agreed web design or development work | Project information, access credentials | Performance of our contract with you |
| Raise invoices and maintain accounting records | Billing details | Legal obligation under Indian tax law |
| Keep the website secure and prevent spam or abuse | Usage and device data | Our legitimate interest in protecting our systems |
| Improve our website and services | Aggregated analytics data | Your consent (analytics cookies) / legitimate interest |
| Send occasional service updates or offers | Name, email, phone | Your consent — you can opt out at any time |
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use your project content to train any third-party system without asking you first.
3. Who we share information with
We share personal data only where it is needed to run our business, and only with parties bound to keep it confidential:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store the website and our email.
- Analytics providers such as Google Analytics, which processes usage data on our behalf.
- Payment gateways and banks, which process transactions directly and under their own privacy policies.
- Professional advisers such as our accountant, for invoicing and tax compliance.
- Authorities, where disclosure is required by law, court order or a valid government request.
Some of these providers operate servers outside India. Where data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become projects — up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client project files and correspondence — for the duration of the engagement and up to 3 years afterwards, so we can support the work we delivered.
- Invoices and accounting records — for the period required by Indian tax law (generally 8 years).
- Server logs — typically 30 to 90 days.
- Access credentials you share with us — deleted at project handover. We ask you to rotate passwords after handover as good practice.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. This website uses:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function and to protect forms from spam. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies — used, where enabled, to count visits and see which pages are useful. The data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use this site; blocking all cookies may prevent forms from submitting correctly.
Our own site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 with its rules, you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and how we have used it.
- Correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Request erasure of data we no longer need for a lawful purpose.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where our use was based on consent. This does not affect processing already carried out.
- Opt out of marketing messages, by replying “STOP” or emailing us. Service messages about an active project will continue.
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response.
To exercise any of these, email info@tayalsecuritechsolutions.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity before acting.
7. Security
We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to client data to the people working on your project, keep software patched, and store credentials in an encrypted password manager. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authority without undue delay if a breach affecting your data occurs.
8. Children
Our services are aimed at businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
This site may link to other websites, such as a client’s live project or a payment provider. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please read their policies before sharing information with them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top always shows the current version. Material changes affecting active clients will be notified by email.
